There are a lot of recipes out there for this kind of smoothie but I thought I would share the one Logan and I really enjoy. This smoothie is great for right after a workout. The flavors blend so beautifully I feel like I am having a dessert!
You will need:
- 1 Scoop of Chocolate Protein
- 1/2 Frozen banana
- 2 tbs. Peanut butter
- 1/4 – 1/2 c. Vanilla almond milk “unsweetened” (depending on how liquid-like you want it)
- 4 Cubes of ice
This makes 1 serving.
When I first started drinking smoothies with protein powder it was hard to get used to the flavor. This smoothie really helped me adjust to the slight powder texture too. I highly recommend it. Especially if you are really craving a sweet treat, this is always a better choice over something sugar filled. And it is just as satisfying!
