When Twilight Sparkle’s crown is stolen from the Crystal Empire, she pursues the thief, Sunset Shimmer, into an alternate world where she finds herself turned into…a teenage girl! To regain her crown and return to Equestria, Twilight must learn how to fit into this strange, new world and defeat Sunset Shimmer in a competition to become crowned Princess of the Fall Formal at Canterlot High. Luckily, she will have the assistance of Spike and five teenage girls who remind her of a certain group of ponies back home.   MLPEGBRCover300dpi

I loved how this movie really focused on the magic of friendship. I feel it really encourages young viewers to come together despite their differences or where they may come from. It brings in the reality of some of the challenges that many kids have to experience during their teen years and how if kids work together they can overcome some of them. While we may not have “magic” we do have access to the characteristics that Twilight Sparkle and her friends promote. Such as honesty, kindness, laughter, generosity, and loyalty. This movie is up beat with fun songs, humor, and an entertaining story that will keep you and your little ones watching.

The DVD, which includes outstanding bonus features, is priced at $16.99 at your local retailer and the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo at $24.97.  Hi, I 'm married to Logan the co-author of this site and I am a very busy mom of three boys. I enjoy crafts, baking, cookie and cake decorating. I love to read, knit, scrap, sew costumes and try new things. I have recently taken an interest in the steam-punk style and I love vintage style clothing as well as dabbling in decorating parties. I'm currently learning all the ins and outs in the adventures of homeschooling. It truly takes a lot of determination and I only make it through by depending on my rock Jesus Christ. So that's enough about me; check out our site and have a great time!
